Garlic Mashed Potatoes
This is a classic mashed potatoes, with the savory taste of garlic. Feel free to adjust the garlic to taste. I prefer to use Music Garlic in this recipe.
Ingredients
- 3 Pounds Idaho Potatoes Peeled
- 4 Cloves Garlic Peeled
- 3/4 Cup Warm Milk
- 6 Tablespoons Softened Butter
- Salt & Pepper to taste
Instructions
- Cut the potatoes into uniform two-inch cubes and place in a sauce pan with the garlic.
- Cover with water, bring to a boil.
- Lower heat to medium and cook until potatoes are tender – about 20 minutes.
- Drain potatoes & garlic.
- Stir in warm milk & butter and mash potatoes and garlic together.
- Season to taste.

- 3 Ripe Avocados
- 1/2 Small Onion Finely Diced
- 3 tbsp Fresh Cilantro Chopped
- 1 Jalapeno Pepper Finely Diced
- 2 Garlic Cloves Minced
- 1 Lime Juiced
- ½ tsp Sea Salt
Instructions
- Mix well & enjoy with chips.
